Posthumously Awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for Heroism (First Oak Leaf Cluster), Air Medal with 2nd through 7th Award, and the Purple Heart (First Oak Leaf Cluster). Prior to his death Gregory was awarded The Distinguished Flying Cross for Heroism, Bronze Star Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster, Army Commendation Medal with "V" devise for Heroism with 1st and 2nd Oak Leaf Clusters, Purple Heart, Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal (Korea), Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Combat Infantrymans Badge, Aircraft Crewman Badge and the Expert Badge with Pistol and Automatic Rifle Bars.
